A simple way to update your bedroom or guest bedroom is to change the lamps and the cushions. If you do not have the budget to do a whole room makeover, this is an easy and less expensive way to create a new look, a new vibe and to refresh your space.
There is something wonderful about a beautiful bedroom. Your bedroom is a personal space where you get to enjoy downtime and where you need to feel comfortable, relaxed, inspired and truly yourself. A beautiful guest bedroom is a treat for your guests and a place where they can feel welcome, relaxed and comfortable in your home.
Here are three ways I have changed up my guest room in my home. The artwork, furniture and bedlinen remain the same and I have simply changed over the lamps and the cushions to create a different look and feel. You can shop Bedroom Makeover 2 and 3 at Berkeley Interiors Store.

BEDROOM makeover 1
A bright happy scheme for a guest room featuring cushions & lampshades custom made in Schumacher Chiang Mai Dragon and Green Alto linen by Christopher Farr Cloth. Lamp bases are ginger jars turned into lamp bases which I purchased in Shanghai years ago. Bedlinen is Bemboka.
BedRoom makeover 2
Pretty pastel colours creating a relaxing vibe for guests to relax and feel at home. Matching cushions and lampshades in a traditional block print design and a custom feature cushion in pink linen with a mint green fringing . The rattan lamp base adds texture and a casual feel. The jug with flowers and a pretty Venetian glass bowl add to the feminine touches in this bedroom.
bedRoom makeover 3
Who doesn’t love the traditional combination of blue and white. Here I have used the same rattan lamp base but with a custom lampshade in a traditional ticking fabric to work back with the blue and white block print cushions . The custom made blue linen cushion with navy fringing adds a sense of fun.
